1. Cancellations – If you need to change or cancel your appointment, we require at least 24 hours’ notice. If less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, your deposit will be retained as a ‘No Show’ fee. If you have not paid a deposit, you will be charged 55% of your appointment and it will be added to your next appointment.
2. Matting & Knots – It is important to take care of your pet’s coat on a regular basis and brush and comb your pet to ensure a comfortable grooming experience for your pet.
If a pet presents in a matted condition and a surgical length clip is required, you will need to sign a form stating you understand the dangers of grooming required due to your neglect.
3. Pricing– Our pricing shown is a rough guide only and is based on regular maintenance grooming. The previous groom being no more than 8 weeks ago, rather than salvage work on a matted or overgrown coat which is priced differently.
A longer period of time between grooms involves more work which increases the price. All prices will be confirmed upon drop off at your appointment.
4. Double Coats or Heavy Coats – It takes extra work and time in grooming a Double Coated or Heavy Coated Dog. These breeds require a full blow dry and brushout to ensure healthy skin and coat. If it is left damp or messy the dog risks skin infections or hot spots forming with the high humidity in our area.
5. Dog Behaviour – We have the right to refuse service if your dog or cat puts itself, other pets or our staff at risk of injury.
Biting or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated, it puts our staff at risk and is an unacceptable behaviour. If we have to muzzle your pet, we have the right to charge our aggressive fee and refuse service. If we are unable to complete the groom because of this behaviour the full amount will still be due on pick up.
6. Entire (NON Desexed) Dogs – We do accept dogs who are not desexed. However, Females in season must wear a nappy and males must wear a “belly band” or nappy whilst in the salon. If you do not have a nappy or a belly band we have them available for purchase.
